Because its release in 1991, the Yohkoh satellite tv for pc has been returning remarkable observations of sunlight flares and the dynamic sun corona. This e-book is a suite of papers offered at a gathering held in: Yoyogi, Tokyo, at the celebration of Yohkoh's 5th anniversary of operation. The papers represent a precis of observations and effects over the 5 years, together with contributions in keeping with facts from Yohkoh's not easy and delicate X-ray telescopes and its spectrometer experiments.

5 Summary Cloud computing has been under a growing spotlight as a viable solution for providing a flexible, on-demand computing infrastructure. We propose an adaptive virtual platform to enable “completely portable executability” across different applications programming paradigms and resources, specifically cloud computational back-ends. We approach this by proposing the Virtual Execution Platform that will provide mechanisms to automatically and dynamically adapt programming paradigms to resources or resources to programming paradigms.

Conclusions and Directions of Future Work QoS monitoring is an essential aspect to take under control SLAs contracted among business partners. Into a Cloud Computing context, which is based on the “as a service” paradigm, a continuous control of QoS attributes is a primary issue that the current state of the art products still have difficulties to deal with. In this paper we have discussed the implementation of a new monitoring facility within the context of the SRT-15 project. The paper makes three important contributions.
